From driving market expansion across Africa, Europe, and the USA to raising $1.2M through an IPO in Ghana, her achievements are a testament to her ability to simplify complexity and spark meaningful change. Leeanne’s passion for mentoring high-performing teams and creating transformative brands—like INN8 for Standard Bank Group—continues to shape industries and redefine what’s possible. For Leeanne, it’s not just about building businesses but building better futures.

Paul Cape

Paul is a transformative leader with over 30 years of experience spanning automotive retail, business consulting, and strategic management. Known for turning challenges into opportunities, Paul has a proven track record of revitalizing underperforming businesses, including the Marble Gold Group’s Volkswagen and Audi dealerships, and steering them to profitability. With a Master’s in Leadership & Management focusing on change management, as well as degrees in Economics and Sociology, Paul brings a strategic and human-centred approach to every venture.

As Director of Quazar Marketing & Communications, Paul’s expertise extends beyond strategy and training, with innovative contributions to software and micro-insurance projects across Africa and the UK. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Paul doesn’t just adapt to challenging environments—he thrives in them, empowering teams and businesses to achieve extraordinary results.

Claire Du Bourg

Claire is a powerhouse in corporate finance and investment strategy, with a career that spans mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory, and business leadership. A co-founder of Crest Capital and a key player in the growth of the Ubora Group, Claire brings unmatched expertise in structuring deals and driving success across a wide range of industries.

Currently serving as a director for several Kutana Group investments, including Nexio and Empowerment Capital, Claire’s hands-on approach and deep insights have transformed businesses. Her commitment to delivering results is matched by her ability to navigate complex cross-border transactions with precision. Claire’s leadership is rooted in her ability to find opportunity in every challenge and her passion for making a measurable impact.

Phindi Flepu

Phindi Flepu, a governance and risk leader at Kutana Group since 2018, oversees compliance and sustainable growth for its investee companies. With expertise in financial analysis and due diligence, she previously helped establish the African Women Chartered Accountants Forum’s investment vehicle. She holds degrees in Accounting Sciences (UNISA), Social Sciences (UCT), and Marketing (CPUT).

Kelly Robinson

Kelly is the steady hand at the helm of Quazar’s client service and project management teams. With 20 years in the industry, and 16 of those at Quazar, she brings a wealth of experience, insight, and calm confidence to every brief. Kelly leads with empathy and precision, ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and understood at every stage of the journey.

Her portfolio spans a diverse range of clients who know they can rely on her to go the extra mile, delivering not just on expectations, but often beyond them. Whether navigating complex timelines or solving the unexpected, Kelly is always a step ahead.

Kris Giles

Kris is Quazar’s creative compass, leading the way as Creative Director for over a decade. With a rich history in graphic design and branding, Kris has shaped some of Africa’s most iconic brands. His talent lies in guiding a team of creatives to develop campaigns and designs that are both strategic and meaningful. 

When he’s not crafting impactful visual stories, Kris explores other ways to stay active, whether through HIIT workouts or attempting to conquer the golf course (with varying success). For Kris, every challenge is an opportunity to improve, reminding us that practice truly makes perfect.

As Program Director, Tracy bridges creativity and technical execution to deliver transformative results. With a background in software product training, business analysis, and campaign management, Tracy is known for turning complexity into clarity. Her deep understanding of client needs and data-driven insights allows her to craft strategies that don’t just work, they excel. 

Tracy’s expertise in unifying systems and streamlining processes ensures that every project runs smoothly and delivers maximum impact. Passionate about creating meaningful connections and actionable solutions, she leads with purpose and a relentless drive to make a difference. 

Bruce Wright

Bruce is the creative catalyst behind Quazar’s digital magic. With roots in advertising as an art director and a bold pivot to the digital world in the early 90s, Bruce combines a deep appreciation for storytelling with an analytical edge. His journey from pixelated websites to crafting seamless, user-focused digital experiences reflects his unique ability to balance artistry with logic. 

A data enthusiast and advocate for visually stunning design, Bruce transforms numbers into stories and ideas into unforgettable interfaces. With a love for innovation and an infectious sense of fun, he delivers digital solutions that don’t just work, they wow. Bruce’s mission? To create experiences that inspire, engage, and elevate every interaction. 

Timothy Sabwelera

Timothy is the driving force behind Quazar’s software innovation. As Head of Software Development, he leads a dynamic team dedicated to crafting exceptional digital solutions that exceed client expectations. With a career that started as a developer and evolved into business analysis, Timothy brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to the table.

Known for his commitment to precision and creativity, Timothy thrives on delivering software that delights and empowers users. Outside of work, he finds inspiration in making music and spending time with his wife and kids, reflecting his belief in the balance between passion and purpose.
