Quazar rebranded the company and launched their successful IPO in Ghana in 10 weeks, retaining 86% brand loyalty and ensuring an oversubscription of their IPO raising in excess of $20m in 2008. We created the strategy defining the business direction for acquiring a Bank and converting to a full service bank.
We pioneered and developed the business strategy and communications plan for merging the Financial Services business and the bank resulting in a reverse listing of the bank, retaining brand loyalty and profitability whilst successfully engaging an entirely new community.
Quazar also conceptualised and delivered several product and services campaigns for UT Bank over a period of 7 years, including a highly successful savings campaign.
We lead the strategic plan to acquire a life insurance company and integrated the value proposition into the lending book, rebranding the insurance company to ‘UTLife’ which delivered profitability the first year of launch. Quazar drove the strategic plan for international expansion, leading the development
of UT South Africa and building the South African Brand.
