Quazar is proud to have played a strategic role in this year’s Ghana Economic Forum 2016, taking place 17-18 August in Accra, Ghana.
This year’s theme is “The Ghanaian Owned Economy: Setting the Agenda for Achieving it”. The Forum brings together industry and thought leaders across civil society and business to discuss key issues affecting the Ghanaian economy. The objective is to devise solutions to overcome the challenges facing Ghana’s economy, towards achieving the country’s economic goals.
The vision of the GEF is to set the agenda for Ghana’s economic prosperity – providing a platform for the best minds of the country to make recommendations on the way forward for the country.
Quazar’s Role at the Ghana Economic Forum
Quazar has been privileged to be engaged by the GEF in multiple capacities this year. Earlier this year, we embarked the process of rebranding the GEF, refreshing their brand identity to showcase their brand as a cutting-edge thought leader in Ghana. We’re proud of the work and think that the new logo and identity looks great!
In addition, we worked with GEF in shaping the conversation for the event: our strategic team advised on speakers, forum and plenary topics. We helped to direct the conversation around major economic issues that require focus and energy in Ghana today. Our consultation has resulted in an excellent combination of economic experts, business leaders and social policy makers taking part in this week’s event. We also consulted on the framework, criteria and running of the GEF Awards, to be presented on the final day of the Forum.
Our work with the GEF has been rewarding and exciting – proud to be part of making a real difference to Ghana’s people through economic empowerment and success!
